Targa

From the time John and I looked down on his sweet face , we were in love. It was 6 months into our marriage, no sweeter puppy could complete it more than him. He was very bright for a puppy and was potty trained very easily. His first babysitters were grandma and Aunt Judy. He never tore nor chewed anything up that wasn’t his. We began training him and found it was a very fast learner. He enjoyed running, 4 wheeling, the snow, and let us not forget his Christmas Stocking. He loved to do anything as long as it was with you. He didn’t like being left behind. He wouldn’t eat or drink until we came home . He was always there to greet us , like we were his favorite people. Several times he had gotten out and he would end up on the front door waiting for us. He loved to lick lick lick and that is one thing that got him into trouble. He didn’t know any other way to say Thank you or I love you. When he would go camping with us he would wake up 1-3am to be let out and scout out the area. Had to make sure all was safe. He liked to lay on the floor and roll on things, like bugs, carrots, cherries, and any food he thought was worthy, that was dropped. Once time John had him in the Jeep and he started rolling in the back seat. We realized we were driving near a dump. It was so funny to see him, he thought it was so stinky, rolling would keep it on him. We always felt safe when Targa was around. He would bark at the post man, PG& E man, UPS man, and many other visitors. He was so friendly, that when we opened the door, he was the first one to get in front and welcome them with a lick. He was our door bell, our protector, toilet buddy, Sophia’s chasing buddy, and our best friend. He will be greatly missed. Till we see you again my friend, have fun chasing those kitty’s in heaven. Love always: Mom, Dad, Sophia, and Auslyn.
