Our most precious kitten Betty died unexpectedly on Thursday, February 7th 2008 . Her sudden and all too soon departure from our lives has left an aching pit in our hearts. No matter which room in our house we enter we expect to find her there. No matter where we are we expect her to come into view. Just out of earshot I can hear the sound of her foot steps or her yawn or the lap-lap-lap sound of her taking a drink of water from the bowl she shared with Chip. I cannot express the hole I have in my heart and in every hour of my day. She will never again wake me at 4am for her breakfast, snorggle me awake in the morning just before the alarm goes off, talk to me as I’m getting ready for work, nap in my bed or in Dave’s bed or in front of the heater or in my chair or in her cat tower. She won’t be waiting for me when I get home or cuddle up next to me as I’m going to sleep. But I got to have all those things and more for the three and a half years I was privileged to have her in my life. Betty, we love you & miss you dearly. She is survived by her Brother Chip and her Mommy and Daddy, Becky Hammerberg and David Logsdon.
