Bear

You were larger than life, with a heart so big, you brought so much joy to our family. I will remember when we first brought you home, you were only 5 weeks old. You were so small, with fuzzy black hair. I asked the kids what we should call you, and they agreed that you looked like a little bear cub, of course we had to call you Bear. You grew into such a handsome guy, almost regal. I will miss hearing your loud bark, to let us know when someone was at the door, or when you got excited seeing a squirrel up in the tree. I will miss the way you would jump up and hit the screen door, sometimes when I hear the screen door close, I think it is you. I miss you so. We were proud that you were part of our family, although our time with you was much too short. You will always live on in our hearts and we will NEVER forget you. Good-bye Bear and I hope we will be together again one day!!
